Darius Dazzled!

- We were afraid they would sell out quickly, so we bought tickets back in early October for this January 20th show.
- The reason we came was about to begin after taking in the delightful opening act, Mallory Hope, and a short intermission.
- While the F.M. Kirby Center is a local historical theatre with a relatively small stage, greek and his band filled out the stage nicely with visual monitors, risers and a great light show.
- It was clear by the crowd reaction that greek is a beloved artist and his vocals are familiarly soothing. The crowd was loving every minute of his set which nicely wove together his many country hits, several Hootie and The Blowfish hits and the crowd pleasing cover tune, The Joker by The Steve Miller Band.
- After a thunderous demand for an encore, he delighted everyone with Prince's "Purple Rain" and Hank William, Jr.'s "Family Tradition".
- Overall, a great night out! We cannot wait for his return to our area.
